ON PROJECT - DOC DALONG IZ INDUSTRIAL

Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has just sent a written request to the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee to allow the implementation of the Doc Da Trang Industrial Park (IZ) project in Van Phong Economic Zone. If approved, the northern region of the province will have one more motivational project in the near future.

Heavy industry and electronics are preferred

Doc Da Trang Industrial Park project has an area of ​​​​about 300 hectares, located in the territory of Van Ninh district and Ninh Hoa town. In which, 240ha belongs to Van Hung commune, Van Ninh district; The remaining 60 hectares are located in Ninh Tho commune, Ninh Hoa town. This project is requested by Viglacera Yen My - Hung Yen Industrial Park Development Joint Stock Company as an investor with a total capital of more than 1,800 billion VND; The initial objective is to invest in the construction and business of industrial park infrastructure. Industries attracting investment focus on supporting industries, high-tech industries, logistics; Secondary projects must be environmentally friendly and make a great contribution to the budget. In which, priority is given to the mechanical industry of machinery and equipment manufacturing and metal processing; heavy mechanics; steel structure; assembling cars, motorbikes, super-long and super-heavy equipment; details, equipment, machine tools; machinery used in the agro-forestry-fishery processing industry. Electrical and electronic equipment manufacturing industry with industrial electronic products, telecommunications electronics, office equipment, computers, mobile phones and electronic components are also given special priority.

With a total area of 4,065 hectares, attracting many big investors such as Samsung, Orion, Canon, BenQ..., with a total investment of FDI enterprises about 15 billion USD), the investor is confident to have project execution in the best possible way. Hopefully, when completed, this IP will form an ideal destination for secondary investors, creating a strong development for the whole area. At the same time, with the strength of being the leading construction material manufacturer in the country, the use of materials produced by Viglacera will contribute to reducing construction costs in the project.

Ready for the implementation project

In order for the project to be implemented soon, currently, options for resettlement and job change for affected households have been considered by the investor. There are 6 households in Xuan Phong village, Ninh Tho commune affected by the project, the investor proposed to move to Ngoc Son Resettlement Area (4.5ha) and Xom Quan Resettlement Area (50ha). These resettlement areas have been fully invested by the State to build infrastructure, ready to receive displaced households and are only about 1.6km from the project area. For 51 households in Xuan Dong village, Van Hung commune, the investor worked with local authorities to agree on a proposal for resettlement for these households. It is expected that 51 households will be resettled in a 1.48ha land area also in Xuan Dong village, about 0.4km north of the project location, suitable to the conditions, customs and habits of the people. displaced people. Ninh Hoa Town People's Committee and Van Ninh District People's Committee are considering and preparing to comment on this proposal.

According to Mr. Tran Ngoc Khiem - Vice Chairman of Van Ninh District People's Committee, currently, in the district, there are no industrial zones and clusters, so the investment in construction of Doc Da Trang Industrial Park will contribute to increasing the value of industrial production and transforming industrial production. economic restructuring towards industrialization, increasing state budget revenue. Besides, creating jobs for thousands of workers, contributing to hunger eradication and poverty reduction, gradually stabilizing the lives of people in Van Ninh district in particular and Khanh Hoa province in general. This project received a lot of attention from the local people. In the meetings with voters, people want the project to be implemented soon.

Hoang Dinh Phi - Head of the Management Board of Van Phong Economic Zone said that currently, in the province, there are 2 industrial zones established (Suoi Dau Industrial Park 136.7ha, Ninh Thuy Industrial Park 207.9ha) and attracted 75 project, with leased area of ​​132.43ha, occupancy rate 54.08%. Therefore, it is completely appropriate to continue implementing the new industrial park project. On the basis of the summary and evaluation of the investment proposal for the infrastructure business and investment project in Doc Da Trang Industrial Park, the Management Board of Van Phong Economic Zone agreed on the policy of consulting the Standing Board. Provincial Party Committee allowed to invest in this project. At the same time, the Provincial People's Committee is recommended to propose the Ministry of Planning and Investment to consider and report to the Prime Minister for approval of the Decision on investment policy of the project in accordance with the provisions of the Investment Law; propose the Prime Minister to allow the adjustment of land use planning of Khanh Hoa province until 2020 to suit the purposes of the infrastructure business and investment project of Doc Da Trang Industrial Park.
